TV One and K2 Pictures have announced the production of "Life After," a series that will share with viewers the behind-the-scenes story of how celebrities have dealt with major turning points in their lives.

Among those featured in the series will be hip-hop/R&B trio Bell Biv Devoe, telling the story of their life together after making the break from New Edition; Al Reynolds, describing in detail how he re-ignited his career as a business professional after his highly publicized marriage and divorce from Star Jones; actress Jaimee Foxworth, whose life took a rocky path after she left the show "Family Matters" and succumbed to the pressures that consume so many child-stars; actor and martial artist Taimak, star of the film, "The Last Dragon," offering insight into the special challenges of becoming a cult hero at a young age; and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, co-star of

"The John Larroquette Show" and "Veronica’s Closet," who has had to overcome great personal challenges since he was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident in 2001.

“Life After will balance joyous moments with painful memories as the show seeks to capture how those featured have both celebrated and enjoyed their fame - and endured their darkest hours,” said TV One Senior Vice President of Original Programming Toni Judkins. “Life After will investigate the ways in which these landmark moments shaped their lives, allowing them to share intimate revelations from the unpredictable journey of life. We look forward to working with K2 Pictures on this project, and are confident they will help us bring some truly remarkable stories to the TV screen.”

TV One plans to premiere the eight-episode series in fall 2009.
